Sovereign Lord, as we approach Election Day, we come before You to reflect on the significance of each individual vote. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 14:34, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people.”

Father, we pray for a deep understanding of the power and responsibility that comes with our right to vote. Help us to see that every vote matters, that each voice contributes to the collective decision that shapes our nation’s future.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom as we consider the impact of our choices. Guide us to vote not just for our own interests, but for the good of all. Help us to see beyond party lines and personal preferences to the broader implications of our decisions.

We pray against apathy and the temptation to think that our vote doesn’t matter. Inspire in us and in all citizens a sense of purpose and civic duty. May we never take for granted the privilege of participating in our democracy.

Father, we also lift up those who feel disillusioned with the political process. Renew their hope and help them see the value of their participation. Let the power of individual votes serve as a reminder of how we can collectively shape our communities and nation.

In all things, Lord, may our choices reflect Your righteousness and love for all people. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
