Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, as we approach this crucial election, we lift up to You the entire voting process. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 11:3, “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.”
Lord, we pray for the protection and integrity of every aspect of our voting system. Watch over the mail-in ballots, ensuring they reach their destinations safely and are counted accurately. Guard our polling places, keeping them free from intimidation or violence. Bless and protect the poll workers who serve our democracy, granting them wisdom, patience, and strength.
We ask for Your divine intervention against any attempts at fraud or manipulation. May truth and transparency prevail in every step of the electoral process. Grant our election officials discernment and courage to uphold the highest standards of integrity.
Father, we also pray for the voters. Give them confidence in the system and the assurance that their voices will be heard. Remove any obstacles that might prevent eligible voters from casting their ballots.
In all of this, Lord, may Your will be done. Help us to trust in Your sovereignty, even as we fulfill our civic duty. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
