Today’s Prayer

Abba Father, just as You lovingly care for us as Your children, we lift up the families of all candidates and elected officials to Your paternal care.

As our perfect Parent, You model the balance of authority and tenderness. Help our leaders emulate this in their own families. Strengthen their bonds, protect their private lives, and guide them in finding balance amidst public demands. Grant them the wisdom You give Your children, to prioritize responsibilities wisely, honoring both their public service and family commitments.

Please provide Your comforting embrace to the spouses and children who often bear the weight of public scrutiny. May they find shelter from prying eyes and may our leaders find renewal and joy in their family relationships, just as we find joy in our relationship with You. Give them Your discernment to set healthy boundaries and the courage of Your Spirit to maintain them.

In Your unfailing, fatherly love, we entrust these families. May they feel Your presence in their homes as strongly as Your guidance in their public lives. Amen.
