Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come to You seeking wisdom and understanding. Your word tells us in Proverbs 2:6, ‘For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.’
We pray for clarity as we study the propositions and laws before us this election cycle. In this time of uncertainty, we ask for steadfast hearts and open spirits as we navigate the complex issues that impact our lives and communities. Guide us to reliable sources of information, and grant us discernment to separate fact from opinion.
We recognize the importance of thoughtful deliberation and the need to listen to varied perspectives. Help us to approach each issue with an open mind and a desire to understand its full implications. May we engage in discussions that foster unity rather than division, and seek solutions that uplift and empower all individuals. May our decisions be rooted in knowledge and guided by Your wisdom.
