Today’s Prayer
Gracious God, we come to you today asking that you cultivate humility in the hearts of those seeking election as well as those who currently hold office.
We ask that you help remind our leaders that true leadership is servanthood. May they lead with a spirit of sacrifice, putting the needs of others before their own ambitions. Grant them the wisdom to recognize their own limitations and the courage to seek help when needed. Help them to remain grounded, accessible to those they serve, and open to diverse perspectives. Let their actions be motivated by a genuine desire to improve the lives of those they have been elected to serve.
In the name of Jesus, our perfect example of servant leadership, we pray. Amen.
