Righteous God, as we continue to pray about the propositions and laws before us, we seek Your guidance in evaluating their fairness and moral implications. Your Word instructs us in Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God,” and in Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

Lord, grant us discernment to recognize how these measures align with principles of justice and righteousness. Help us evaluate whether they promote fairness and equality for all members of our communities. Give us wisdom to see beyond surface appeals to the deeper moral implications of each proposal.

We pray for clarity in understanding how these measures will be implemented. Show us whether they will be applied equitably across all segments of society. Help us identify any unintended consequences that might create or perpetuate unfairness.
