Heavenly Father, as we focus on the propositions and laws before us, we seek Your wisdom for both understanding and foresight. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 2:6, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding,” and in Galatians 6:7, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”

Lord, grant us clarity as we study the measures on our ballots. Help us comprehend not just the immediate effects of these proposals, but their long-term implications for our communities and nation. Give us discernment to see beyond campaign rhetoric to the true substance of each measure.

We pray for wisdom to understand complex issues and their interconnections. Guide us to reliable sources of information and grant us discernment to separate fact from opinion. Help us consider how today’s choices will affect future generations.
