As we reach the midpoint of our 14-day prayer journey toward Election Day 2024, we focus our next three days on one of the most pressing challenges facing our nation: division. From October 28-30, we'll lift up prayers specifically addressing the various rifts in our society while seeking God's guidance for building bridges of understanding.

Division threatens the very fabric of our democracy. Whether political, economic, cultural, or generational, these rifts weaken our ability to function as a unified nation. Yet, as people of faith, we recognize that prayer can be a powerful force for healing and reconciliation. Through these focused days of prayer, we seek divine wisdom for addressing these challenges and building a more united society.

We begin by addressing political divisions while considering how information sharing affects our unity. Drawing from Ephesians 4:15 and Proverbs 15:2, we'll pray for both healing of partisan rifts and wisdom in consuming and sharing information. This foundational day helps us recognize how media literacy and political reconciliation intertwine.

We conclude this focus by celebrating our diversity while building bridges between age groups. Through Revelation 7:9 and Psalm 145:4, we'll pray for appreciation of our differences and recognition that our variety of perspectives strengthens rather than weakens our nation.
