In a world that often equates happiness with purchasing power, wisdom calls us to a deeper understanding of stewardship. God's Word reminds us that true prosperity isn't measured by what we acquire, but by how wisely we manage what He's entrusted to us. As our nation enters this season of heightened commerce, we have an opportunity to demonstrate thoughtful stewardship that honors both God and our responsibilities to family and community.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father, on this day when our nation’s attention turns to shopping and deals, we come to You seeking wisdom and discernment. We thank You for Your provision and for entrusting us with resources to manage.

Lord, grant us wisdom to make choices that honor You. Help us to be mindful consumers who consider not just prices, but also ››› continue prayer here ››› the impact of our decisions on our families, communities, and future. Give us discernment to distinguish between needs and wants, and courage to make choices aligned with Your principles of good stewardship.

We pray for business owners and workers serving our communities today. Bless their efforts, protect their well-being, and help us all to treat one another with respect and kindness during this busy season.

Guide us to be thoughtful stewards of the resources You’ve provided, remembering that everything we have comes from You. May our choices reflect Your wisdom and bring glory to Your name.

In Your wise and generous name, we pray. Amen.
