Today’s Prayer

Sovereign Lord, as we conclude our 30-day prayer journey on this eve of Election Day, we draw strength from Your Word in Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Father, we thank You for guiding us through these 30 days of focused prayer for our nation. Thank You for deepening our understanding, broadening our perspectives, and ››› continue prayer here ››› strengthening our commitment to being agents of peace and unity in our communities.

Lord, as we prepare for tomorrow’s significant civic duty, we pray for:
– Clarity of mind as voters make their final decisions
– Peace at polling places across our nation
– Wisdom and stamina for election workers and officials
– Protection of voting processes and systems
– Unity among citizens regardless of political views

Holy Spirit, help us carry forward the insights gained during these 30 days of prayer. When we enter our polling places tomorrow, remind us of the prayers we’ve shared for wisdom, integrity, and unity. Help us vote not from fear or anger, but from hope and conviction.

Father, we ask for Your peace to reign in our hearts and communities tomorrow. Guard against anxiety as we participate in this democratic process. Help us remember that regardless of the outcomes, You remain sovereign, and our ultimate citizenship is in Your kingdom.

Grant us grace in our interactions tomorrow, whether in person or online. May we be agents of calm and encouragement to others who may feel anxious or uncertain. Help us maintain perspective, remembering that our shared values and common humanity matter more than any political outcome.

As this prayer journey concludes, we commit ourselves to being peacemakers and bridge-builders tomorrow and in the days ahead. May the fruits of these 30 days of prayer be evident in how we conduct ourselves as citizens and as children of God.
