In a nation deeply divided by partisan politics, we are called to be peacemakers and bridge-builders. This doesn't mean abandoning our convictions, but rather approaching differences with empathy, respect, and a willingness to listen. Today, we reflect on how we can foster unity and promote civil discourse in our personal interactions and in our communities.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before You acknowledging the deep partisan divides in our nation.

Lord, where there is fear, bring understanding. Where there is anger, bring peace. Help us to see the humanity in those with whom we disagree. Guide us to find common ground and shared values, even amidst our differences.

Grant us the wisdom to engage in respectful dialogue and the courage to listen with open hearts. Let our conversations be seasoned with grace, that we might be bridges of understanding in these divided times.

May we put on love, which binds us all together in perfect unity. Help us to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

In Your name, we pray. Amen.
