Today’s Prayer

Faithful God, as we conclude our 14-day prayer journey on this eve of Election Day, we hold fast to Your promises in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand,” and in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Lord, thank You for guiding us through these two weeks of focused prayer for our nation. We’ve grown in understanding, deepened our commitment to unity, and ››› continue prayer here ››› strengthened our resolve to be agents of peace in our communities.

As we prepare for tomorrow’s crucial civic duty, we pray for Your perfect peace to reign in polling places across our nation. Grant protection to election workers, wisdom to voters, and calm to our communities. Help us remember that our shared values and common humanity matter more than any political outcome.

Father, we ask for clarity of mind as we make our final voting preparations. Guide those still studying issues and comfort those feeling anxious about tomorrow. Help us approach our civic duty with both conviction and compassion, remembering that every person we encounter is precious in Your sight.

Holy Spirit, help us carry forward the lessons learned during these days of prayer. When we vote tomorrow, remind us of our prayers for wisdom, integrity, and unity. May we participate not from fear or anger, but from hope and faith in Your sovereign care for our nation.

Lord, we commit tomorrow into Your hands. Whether in victory or disappointment, help us remember that You remain on the throne. Guide us in being examples of grace, dignity, and peace as results unfold. Let our conduct reflect the transforming work You’ve done in our hearts through these days of prayer.

Unite us, Lord, in seeking Your best for our nation. May tomorrow demonstrate to a watching world that we can disagree on policies while still honoring You and loving one another.
