Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, at this moment of transition in our nation’s journey, we come before You seeking Your wisdom and guidance. Your Word reminds us in Ephesians 4:3 that we should “be eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” We acknowledge that true unity can only come through Your Spirit’s work in our hearts.
Lord, help us to be agents of peace and reconciliation in our communities. Give us hearts that seek understanding over division, bridges over barriers. Guide us to be››› continue prayer here ››› come people who listen more than we speak, who seek to understand before being understood. Grant our leaders wisdom to guide our nation forward with grace and dignity, and help citizens from all walks of life to find common ground in our shared hopes for our country’s future.
We pray for healing where there is hurt, understanding where there is misunderstanding, and cooperation where there has been conflict. Help us to remember that before we are members of any party or group, we are first Your children, called to love one another as You have loved us.
In Your unifying name we pray, Amen.
